Survey completed :)

Although my cat seemed to have a bit of a rogue result for her first test which diagnosed her as hyperT - all subsequent tests have put her within normal levels!  She now has yearly blood tests to check levels, along with her blood test for organ function - she's on Metacam for arthritis.

 :welcome: to Purrs Amy

I've completed the survey for you, it was a few years ago now but my childhood cat was hyperthyroid.

Not sure if it's worth adding a section on what medication was prescribed, then the answers as to whether there were any problems would be more quantified - my cat was on Felimazole but i understand Vidalta is the drug of choice nowadays.

Good luck with your studies  ;D

Hi Amy and   :welcome:  to Purrs

I hope some members will fill the questionnaire in for you - fortunately so far I have avoided the condition

Best of luck with your project - we need decent Vets !

I am a 17 year old student applying to Vet School this year and as part of my A-levels I am undertaking an Extended Project qualification on feline hyperthyroidism and its treatments.
I would be extremely grateful if anyone who has or has previously had a cat with the condition would fill in this very short questionnaire.

Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Thank you very much
Amy
