Here was me expecting a thread about 'hunt the smell'  :evillaugh:

The clever black light thingy sounds good, though - if anyone local's got one I'd love to borrow it for a quick go - seems silly to buy one when you only need to check every few days or whatever.

No comment  :innocent:

Must admit though, most of the glowing stain's on the wall was caused from flushing the toilet :wow:
Ither that or I'd came home one night and relieved myself over my head  :evillaugh:

yup - it's only been 18yrs of nagging/training so far so I think that means we've just completed the "foundation" stage :evillaugh:

(I've managed to offload the hoovering onto him as I've said it comes under the heading of "technical" - actually as do most things - plus, I allowed him to buy a whizzy dyson... :sneaky:)

Actually, what he said was "Look.  You can see she's weed here and here." in the tone of voice that expected me to do something about it.  I replied that as he was down there anyway inspecting every square cm of carpet, he might as well clean it up.

I've got one too but it's just a normal 'black light' or UV light which is exactly what the urine off branded one is - mine was about £6 delivered from ebay.  I got mine as I have no sense of smell so was worried that the boys might have an accident when they were kittens and I'd never know about it!  Am pleased to report no strange glows from any corners in my house  :)

I've seen them on ebay for about £18.00

Urine-off itself is expensive - I winder if it's better than simple?

some of you may know that my little girl, Jessie, has been suffering with stress and marking/weeing outside the tray.  Anyways, OH sent off for a new gadget "The Dark Light" by Urine off - it was delivered today at work in a brown envelope  :evillaugh:

So, this evening, he's been scouring the flat with this wretched thing and pointing out where it showed up fluorescent spots of wee.  Actually, what he said was "Look.  You can see she's weed here and here." in the tone of voice that expected me to do something about it.  I replied that as he was down there anyway inspecting every square cm of carpet, he might as well clean it up.

And he did

The cats were very interested and made sure they followed him everywhere to ensure his cleaning skills were up to scratch ;D
