Title: Kitten wanted
Post by: Philip on April 12, 2010, 21:58:40 PM
My Aunt is looking for a rescue kitten.

She and her husband have had cats/dogs/rabbits all the time I have been alive.

Sadly, one of their cats passed away recently leaving only one cat who is pining for company.

I said I would put out feelers to see if I can help give a little one a new home.

Now they have just the remaining cat and a small dog.

I used to do homechecks for the UKRCC and can vouch my Aunt would make a wonderful owner.

I know the remaining cat may not like a new kitten at first but feel it might take to a kitten more than an adult in the long run.

I would always check up regularly anyway  :shify:

Thanks  ;D

We live in East Sussex. My Aunt lives just up the road from me.

But I am willing to travel depending on how far it is.

That's not exactly our area but not a million miles away either. I can tell you the kitten season hasn't really started in this region yet - owing to late Spring etc. Your nearest CP rehoming centre will be Bredhurst or possibly even the NCC and I know they both have a long waiting list for kittens. In fact there's no kittens ready to go in branch level CP care we know of this side of Bredhurst to as far as Dover. What kittens there have been have gone to people already on the waiting lists. Some have waited months. :shy: But give it a month or two and it will be a different story. They all come at once, you see! Either a draught or a tsunami...  :tired:

Many thanks Pinkbear.  ;D

I didn't expect instant results. Especially with wanting a kitten.

But if a kitten unexpectedly comes up please everyone let me know.

 ;)
