Tried JS first as I know she's in my area from previous posts. Thanks ladies :)

Emily, JS may know of a suitable cat.

Thank you :)

Nor me. They've always had pets and she lost her dog to illness a while ago and misses the company but isn't well enough for a dog. Just hope we find a lovely placid kitty for her :)

You might want to put Chesterfield in your topic title?

Hope you find a good match for your friend's mom.  Can't imagine having to put up with such a debilitating illness and have no feline company  :(

Good morning ladies!
A friend of mine is looking for a cat for her mum who has Parkinson's. Her only requirements are that the cat is placid, enjoys fuss and must be an indoor only cat as her mums mobility doesn't allow her to be active enough to be opening doors and searching for a stubborn puss who won't come in at night (I have one of these cats :) )

My friend cares for her mum so she will have lots of support including myself. She's also financially able to look after a cat too.

Ideally needs to be as local as possible to Chesterfield in Derbyshire as we'd like to do a meet and greet before deciding on the right cat. She has tried RSPCA and they've refused her because of her illness (which is descrimination to me ) so Im trying independant rescues and private rehoming instead. Happy to discuss anything via email with anyone who may have a suitable cat.

Many thanks for reading
Emily
