Thats a relief ! - i was logging on and off yesterday to check how he was .
Pleased he is a lot better- maybe its like us having a cold sore .

Sorry not to update you, but didnt actually have computer on at all this weekend! (theres a first LOL!) with various things going on.

Anyway, Sam's fine, took him on Sat (wasnt my usual vet) she didnt really know what it was but thought it had got infected - she tried cleaning it (I'd already tried that and given up because it was so sore) and he screamed!! She gave him a 48hr antibiotic jab - and back again today. Mind you it started to look better by Sunday, and today, its almost back to normal, but I took him anyway, and she gave him another jab and some pills.

MM, he doesnt get feline acne, but because of the shape of his mouth he does drool a bit and his fangs tend to push against his lip, so I'm wondering if thats what it was - maybe his tooth actually punctured the lip?

How strange, I noticed Feliz has something like that but on the upper lip.
She shies away when I want to look at it. I guess she was hurt during a fight here. Just wait and see how it looks tomorrow

Does he suffer with acne at all? Sometimes you get a sore spot/swelling with that.

Earlier in the week Sam's mouth looked slightly lopsided, anyway, as his mouth always looks a bit strange (with his tongue always poking out!) I didnt think more of it. Then it looked like his chin was dirty (again thats not unusual because he dribbles sometimes) so yesterday I wiped it, like I would normally, only it didnt seem to be cleaning up this time. Anyway, today I noticed blood on that area, and it actually looks swollen too now. Its on his bottom lip to one side of his chin, if you see what I mean? It hasnt stopped him eating but he definitely doesnt like me touching it. So, its off to the vet in the morning.
