hi Liz, no I don't have any pics as she was returned so quickly.  She had been with CP up until 4 months ago who chipped her after she was found wandering and never claimed.  although if you had a pic of your peaches I may be able to tell you if it was the same one!??

Can you talk to CP and see if you can get them onside? As the chip is to them they would be able to help if they wanted to....

I know, I was kinda expecting even a 'little' emotion, but I wasn't overly surprised by the womans reaction after having spoken to her on the phone to be honest.

I get the feeling that peaches is more a 'cat for the kids' which I have a feeling may be why she wanders off as although she makes herself right at home wherever she is she doesn't like having her legs or feet touched or being messed about. :tired:

as soon as we took her home put her in the kitchen and the first thing she did was make a beline for the cat flap...  :scared: which to us speaks volumes as in all the time she has been with us she hasn't made even 1 attempt or shown an interest in going outside!  :scared:

It is annoying and a little upsetting to see her not in the perfect setting but what can you do!?!

well we took the little one home.  Not much to report really as no real emotion or interest shown in where's she been .. but hey ho! I suppose it takes all types!

She's not been with the new family long but it would appear that she isn't in the house very much only coming home at night to eat, which may or may not be to do with the kids.    Looks like our Peaches is quite a wanderer so it may not be the last we see of this wee girl! :tired:

spoke to them again this morning and got them to agree to let us take her straight home.

They wanted us to drop her off at 1 branch of a vets, to be transported to another branch of the vet in another town to wait pick up to go to the CP base and THEN to her owner.. all in all would probably have taken 1-2 days whereas we can have her home in less than 20mins! !

but thankfully sorted and we should be dropping her off at home later today once we get hold of the owner and arrange  a time to drop her off!  :)

Ahhh excellent news ... so pleased "Peaches" will be back home with her slaves very soon.  It might be worth reminding her owners that they need to update her chip details.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Well little 'Peaches' has a microchip and has been traced back to a local CP branch who have been able to identify her owner.

Hopefully, if we can convince CP that we are trustworthy to return the cat directly to the owner then she should be back home tomorrow :tired:.  Failing that she has quite a journey ahead of her before reaching home!!    :tired:

thanks, well I definately hoping someone misses her.  I have a feeling she is a mans cat however (could be wrong).  We have her in a pen in our sitting room at the moment and let her out to stretch her legs for a bit last night... bless her she went running right up to Paul jumped up on his knee and cuddled right into him... like big time cuddles and kisses, the lot!!!  it was SOOOOOO sweet to see!  :Luv2:

she really is a wee star.  Will get her along later today for a scan as rushed off our feet today with appts etc.

We had a tortie and white girl brought in late last night who was collected from the Rosyth area in Fife, Scotland.

An adult of approx 3 years old, dash of white on her back, mainly white and grey on face.  Extremely affectionate and in good condition so definately belongs to someone.  She will have been missing from wherever her home is since Saturday 21st June.

Will get her in tomorrow to scan for a chip but posting this in the meantime just in case!
