so, so happy for you. After mine was missing for a long time, also being feed by a kind lady, I now pay it forward and help others in my area when their pet goes missing and always advertising the importance of microchipping. absolutely wonderful news xx :wow:

OMG you must be ecstatic  ;D

I have just looked at the original Lost posting and remember Aimee going missing  - such a beautiful girl and with her odd coloured eyes being so distinctive. They say that often the cat is not far away and you just need that bit of luck for the finder to do some checks. Well done the lady who fed her and was finally able to get her to a vets.

Absolutely delighted your girlie is back home with you  :hug:

Hello All,
This is a very happy message to let those of you who remember, My little odd eyed tortie who went missing in October 2009 from Hamstead Road is now home safe and well..!!  ;D
I received a call from pet log on Sunday to say she had been taken to a vet (only 6 miles away!) and was doing fine. She's a little thin and has a few problems after sleeping rough for 2 years but she was being fed by a kind lady who's garden she had been visiting daily for over a year..!! She finally managed to catch her on Saturday and took her to the vet on Sunday where they scanned her for a microchip.
I am soo happy and would like to say a huge thank you to all the people on here who supported me when she first disappeared. This really brings home the importance of microchipping.
I'm just gobsmacked after waiting 2 years for this news but i don't think i've ever been happier. Never give up hope...
