Jake & Woody are desperate to find a new home, they are extremely loving 5 year old brothers - they are both neutered, vaccinated, deflead & wormed up to date.

Jake is in perfect health..Woody however has recently been diagnosed with diabetes which is managed with twice daily insulin injections.

Their owner needs to rehome them urgently due to personal reasons - see here for more info:

Purrs peeps: I've just spoken to Lost Cats Brighton and things are pretty grave, so if anyone has a few spare pennies, all donations will be gratefully received and put to good use.  Ron runs LCB on his own with just one lady weekend helper so needs all the support you can give.  Vet bills have been very high of late and the rescue is full of cats: this morning one is being rehomed but two more are coming in to take his place.

Ron: I've made a donation myself this morning.

‘URGENT APPEAL’

Please Help us

We are in a CRITICAL situation !!!  Sad

Unfortunately ‘We’ are now showing the signs of being yet another casualty of the so called ‘Credit Crunch’!!

As everyone quite understandably tightens their purse strings in this current climate, sadly small charities like ours are feeling the knock on effects.

We are seriously concerned as to how much longer we will be able to keep our ‘Rescue Center’ going and very worryingly it is looking as though it could be just a matter of a couple of months before we could be forced to close our doors.

Since the charity started we have always managed on the generosity of individuals who’ve previously donated to us but these have greatly reduced.

To give some idea as to how we are affected it is probably best to give some examples of the costs involved.

Just in the past eight weeks of Veterinary Care for our ‘Moggies’ we have had a bill in for over £4000!  Just one of the treatments was for £750 for a young kitty who came into us who we found out, was dangerously close to death as she had experienced a miscarriage and was slowly being blood poisoned. Another was a male cat who came in requiring emergency dental work which came to a couple of hundred pounds, as he had sadly been kicked in the mouth by ‘Thugs’ and had several broken teeth that needed extracting plus other minor ailments.

PLEASE DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO HELP US TRY AND KEEP THIS VALUABLE ‘RESCUE’ GOING

This can be done by either sending us a one off donation by

Cheque, Postal Order or by PayPal

(See our main ‘Donations’ page for the PayPal Link on our website www.lostcatsbrighton.org.uk)

Or

For those that can manage it, we wish to appeal to your hearts to set up a ‘Standing Order’ with us, however large or small as it all adds up, as we would then be more able to see what sort of regular funds we have available to help us secure the future of the cats in our care, and enable us to continue with our mission in rescuing and relieving the suffering of Lost, Stray and Unwanted cats that come into us.

Thank You
