Two of my current three are. Bobby was vaccinated when he came, so I've kept it up (he's 3 or 4 ish now). Buffy is about 7 and a half, she's vacc now, and I decided to keep those two up to date as I was fostering so it made sense. Biscuit the oldest one who was a failed foster
isn't, he's healthy but due to his age I decided not to and also as I won't be fostering anymore while he's here he's less at risk. They do have access to an outdoor run, but the dogs tend to keep any extra cats away! Also Biscuit survived so long outside I'm guessing he's prob immune to most stuff anyway.
Thinking back I think all previous ones were vaccinated, Pussy Willow was an oldie but she was done, Ben was kept up to date after veing vacc by the rescue I got him from, not sure about Ted.....don't think so. Mitten defo was.
Another reason I had Buffy done was cos her and Ben had to go into a cattery at one point while I moved house. One of the fosters I had was vacc by the rescue before he came and I think he was done with the 'dead' version. Mine just have normal, but NOT FeLV.
However in saying all of that, if one of them was poorly for any reason around vacc time, I prob wouldn't have it renewed, just to be on the safe side.
Probably no use, but there you go!
